DETROIT – November 5th, 2009 –WaTunes, the world’s revolutionary social music service that offers the first ever free online music distribution service on iTunes has announced its new service offering: Sync through their new social music platform. With Sync, artists and labels can sync their iTunes Artist Profiles to their very own WaTunes social profile to help drive fans to their iTunes profiles to increase sales. Since September, WaTunes has launched its own social platform that enables every artist, label, and fan to create their profiles, talk instantly via Skype, input any music or video widget into their profiles including YouTube and MySpace, and share their Facebook and Twitter profiles.

“With WaTunes growing so fast, we’re making it really easy for anyone to be able to purchase music on the iTunes Store from their favorite artists right here at WaTunes. We’re very excited that we’re about to offer this new feature and give any artists an open window to promote their WaTunes profile and increase their sales earnings. “ Says Tony Pytleski, Vice President of WaTunes.

Other features WaTunes has introduced is a profile commenting system and a brand new VIP service. Now music artists and record labels will be able to sell their music to a wide array of music stores including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Playstation 3 for just $12.95 per month. WaTunes plans to offer more music store services for VIP customers in February 2010:

“With a whole new delivery system in a whole new environment, we’re able to offer more options in more places. Our goal is to create an environment that enables users to freely engage in a social exchange between themselves and their favorite artists. Meanwhile, we want to provide artists the tools to reach out to their fans in a whole new medium. With Sync, VIP service, and other social features, we’re one step closer to creating that environment.” Says Kevin Rivers, CEO of WaTunes.
