Union Square Music Signs Ztt Catalogue Deal
Catalogue marketing specialists Union Square Music have signed a deal to represent the ZTT catalogue. Under the new arrangement USM will take on all physical releases, licensing and synchronisation for the ZTT recordings for the world ex. North America and Japan. The ZTT (Zang Tuum Tumb) label, which includes 45 UK Top 40 hits (fifteen of them Top 10) and highly regarded albums by the likes Art of Noise, Propaganda, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and 808 State in its catalogue was founded by Trevor Horn, Jill Sinclair and Paul Morley in 1983 and enjoyed immediate success with Frankie, whose first three singles all hit the UK Number One spot. The first fruits of this deal will be issued on USM's acclaimed Salvo imprint early in 2010, with deluxe editions and box sets all in the planning.
