February 24th, 2009 - Air Guitar will never be the same again. Late Monday evening, CEO and lead developer of Roadie Rage, Inc., Robert Kainz, announced the release of version one of the iAirGuitar application for the iPhone and iPod touch. "This is an easy to use application that will not only take playing air guitar to the next level, but it will also provide real guitarists with some helpful tips on how to improve their playing," said Kainz, as he whipped out his iPhone to give a demonstration at a private company meeting. He added, "we intend to compete with vintage air guitar models already on the market." Contributing designer Corey Bray says "The iAirGuitar will transport you back to the 80's, when the art of air guitar was in its glory and everyone was dreaming of becoming the next Van Halen, Steve Vai or Joe Satriani."
The iAirGuitar app features the artwork of contemporary artist Jared Day. With four different guitar body styles, 16 prerecorded guitar riffs, and an electronic pick included, you and your friends can now have guitar duels anywhere. It's good clean affordable fun for the whole family, for lightening the mood around the office, or when you are just having a private 80's moment and need to let your inner air guitarists out to express themselves in front of the mirror.
