Fonovisa Records, the #1 Regional Mexican label in the United States, will celebrate its 25th year in discovering, nurturing and distributing the very best in Latin music by releasing a number of unprecedented, exclusive music collections.

Since its inception in 1984, Fonovisa Records has been responsible for the chart-topping success of such seminal  artists as Alacranes Musical, Banda El Recodo, Bronco, Cristian Castro, Conjunto Primavera, Enrique Iglesias, Flans, Industria del Amor, Jenni Rivera, Marco Antonio Solís, Los Bukis, Los Rieleros del Norte, Los Temerarios, Los Tigres del Norte, Los Yonic's, and Timbiriche, among many others.

"The 25th anniversary provides us with the opportunity to celebrate and re-introduce music fans to many of the greatest albums in Fonovisa's storied history," stated Gus Lopez, President of Fonovisa Disa Records. "We are  honored to be working with our teams in the US and Mexico to showcase the importance of Fonovisa at this special time. To be clear, we are celebrating our music, our culture and a breakthrough for Latin music. It is also exciting that after 25 years, the company continues to thrive as the industry leader. We are certainly looking forward to the next 25!"

As part of the year-long celebration, Fonovisa Records will launch the ultimate collection of the company's greatest hits over the last quarter-century, entitled "LA HISTORIA DE LOS EXITOS" (The History of Hits) on January 20th. A collection this exclusive has never before been available, and each one of the songs included in this special package was chosen to represent the greatest hit of each one of the first 25 years of Fonovisa Records.

This will be followed with "LAS 25 MAS ROMANTICAS CON LOS SUPERGRUPOS" (The 25th most romantic songs with the Super groups) on February 10th, featuring an unprecedented collection of Fonovisa's most romantic hit songs in time for Valentine's Day.

Moreover, in February, Fonovisa will begin releasing a number of re-mastered classic albums that were among the company's biggest sellers over the last quarter-century. Up first are several releases from the legendary Los Temerarios, which including "Mi Vida Eres Tú", "Como Te Recuerdo", "Camino Del Amor," and" Te Quiero" among many others.

All Fonovisa Records releases are available at retail outlets and through all digital formats.
