mtv.ca And Muchmusic.com Raise The Bar With 166 Million Video Streams In 2008

mtv.ca and muchmusic.com set a new standard as online destinations with a record-setting 166 million combined video streams in 2008. Eclipsing last year's previous record of 120 million, both websites fed fans' appetite for hit programs and hot music videos on demand. These results continue to establish Much and MTV as Canada's preeminent source for pop culture and music content.

MuchMusic reached an audience high of more than 2.1 million monthly unique visitors in 2008*, averaging 1.3 million monthly uniques throughout the year, an increase of 7% over 2007.
