Sirius And XM Target Death Disco Radio
Death Disco Radio, the world's cutting edge show of disco, house and electronic music has been on the radar of Sirius and XM satellite radio for its ground breaking programming. Officials at Death Disco Radio would not comment on the pending merger. The Sirius receiver is a 75 MHz application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) chip called the Baseband Integrated Circuit currently the STA240, which is produced by STMicroelectronics. Sirius subscribers who use a Linux-based operating system can use Sipie to stream on-line channels while the Windows Media Player are available currently through Death Disco Radio and would stream to the iPod, Zune, and Creative Zen players. While the StarPlayr and SiriusMac are Sirius Radio players designed specifically for Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard users, Death Disco Radio would open their streams up to OS 9 and other antiquated systems used worldwide by billions of computer users.
Death Disco Radio's programming is dedicated to Italo Disco, Chicago house, Disco, Acid House, Electro, Classic Electro, Synth wave, Detroit Techno, Dark Wave, Minimal tech, Miami Bass, Electro pop, and 80s music.
DJ Hell (Label boss of International Deejay Gigolo Records, recorded on the legendary Tresor records and worked with Jeff Mills, Pet Shop Boys), Traxx, Larry Tee (produced and recorded such artists as Scissor Sisters, Fischerspooner, RuPaul, Peaches), Nico, Ron Hardy, Mr. K-Alexi (Remixed and produced The Pet Shop Boys, Derrick May), Adriano Canzian, The Model, Mihai Popoviciu, Masstyk, Mick Wills, Play Paul (remixed Kylie Minogue, Basement Jaxx), Princess Superstar (remixing and producing with The Prodigy, Moby, Disco D), Gene Farris (Virgin, Studio !K7, Cajual Records, Ministry Of Sound), Reid Speed, Salvatore Cusato aka Casco (with the 1983 hit Cybernetic Love), LeChic, Savas Pascadilis, xxNaughty Wood, Jor-el, Mr. Pauli, and Funky Junction (Warner Bros. Records, Reprise Records, Hooj Choons, Kinetic Records, Global Underground Ltd.) among other artists.
