Open to songwriters from any style of music and from anywhere in the world, the contest will reward its three overall winners not only with a $3,000 cash prize, but also with radio airplay and the chance to have their music professionally mixed and mastered. It is truly prize that will open doors. And the best thing about the 100% Music Songwriting Contest is that no professional experience is required; it is open to amateurs as much as seasoned pros and entries will be judged entirely on the quality of the songwriting. So if you feel you are an undiscovered gem, this is your chance to shine. Besides the three grand prize winners, there will be prizes awarded to the best three entries in each of 15 categories, with a total of $40,000 up for grabs! The categories range from folk to hip hop to electronica to jazz. All music is catered for. In addition to te genre-specific categories, prizes will be given for best male and female singers, best lyrics and the best musical performance. The judges for this incredible musical opportunity are all top independent music professionals, with a wealth of experience and professional know-how. They include composers, record label producers and music journalists. They will judge entries on the strength of their composition, not the quality of recording.
