Sam Bisbee Son Of A Math Teacher CD Release

On April 17, Sam Bisbee will celebrate the release of his 4th album Son of a Math Teacher with a special show at Joe's Pub. The album will be Bisbee's first on the Chicago record label Le Grand Magistery, home to a diverse galaxy of talent including STARS, A GIRL CALLED EDDY, MOMUS, le Concorde and PAS/CAL. The album features guest performances by Lucy Wainwright Roche, Leona Naess, Liz Tormes and Mike Viola. For the Joe's Pub show Sam is augmenting his core band (Dan Green, Brad Gunyon and Jason Hart) with numerous special guests and a string section to help reproduce the diverse arrangements on the album live. As the album won't be formally released until the first week of May, this will also be the first place that the new CD will be made available. Plus, a special, limited edition CD will be given for free with each ticket to the show.
