Dream Is Named Notable Children’s Recording By ALA

Each year the ALA publishes the prestigious Notables List, identifying the best of the best in children’s recordings. According to the ALA press release, “The list includes recordings for children 14 years of age and younger of especially commendable quality that demonstrate respect for young people's intelligence and imagination; exhibit venturesome creativity; and reflect and encourage the interests of children and young adolescents in exemplary ways.” In addition to the ALA Notable, Dream was also named “Best of the Year” by Booklist Magazine and won a Parents’ Choice Award, a NAPPA (National Parenting Publications) Gold Award, and a Seal of Approval from Creative Child Magazine. Dream is the fourth recording by Mae Robertson in her award-winning Lullaby & Lovesong Collection and the third one to be named a Notable Recording.
