Linkin Park, Common And Other Top Performers Turn Out For Sandisk's "Wake Up Your Phone" Party On The Sunset Strip

Bookmark and Share

SanDisk Corporation's launch party on the famous Sunset Strip this past weekend was filled with an exclusive group of celebrities, musicians, SanDisk key clients and the world's media enjoying VIP treatment in three of the most exclusive venues on Sunset Strip. ??Lucky guests were treated to exclusive performances from Linkin Park, Common, Z-Trip, Supernatural, Cut Chemist and The Crystal Method, all of whom performed in the top three legendary clubs in Los Angeles. The SanDisk event was the first time the Viper Room, The Roxy and the Key Club were simultaneously reserved for a single event by one company. ??Members of the media can download images courtesy of SanDisk: http://www.digitalrailroad.net/AppleRidgeFilms/gpgs.aspx?pgid=12373872&e=0&p=0. Video footage of the evening's highlights can be downloaded as a digital file from Businesswire or is available from SanDisk as a videotape (NTSC and PAL). ??The event celebrated the launch of SanDisk's ‘Wake Up Your Phone, marketing campaign to create awareness and educate people about how they can use the card slot on their mobile phones to "Wake Up Their Phone."

Michael Romero, Senior Director Global Retail Marketing at SanDisk's Mobile Consumer Solutions Division, commented, "While many people may have a mobile phone with a built-in MP3 player, digital camera, video player/recorder or other storage-intensive features, surprisingly few realize with the simple addition of a large capacity storage card, they can use their phone to listen to thousands of songs or take thousands of photos or watch hours of video. Our goal is to help people to get the most out of their phone by using a memory card. The growing numbers who do find they have more experiences to share with friends, family and social networking sites." ??SanDisk's 8GB1 memory cards are available in both microSDHC and Memory Stick Micro (M2) formats and allows consumers to store more than 2,000 digital songs, or more than 5,000 high-resolution pictures, or up to 5 hours of high-quality MPEG 4 video2. SanDisk's 8GB microSDHC and M2 cards are now available in major retail outlets worldwide with suggested retail prices of $139.99 and $149.99 respectively. ??SanDisk is the original inventor of flash storage cards and is the world's largest supplier of flash data storage card products, using its patented, high-density flash memory and controller technology. SanDisk is headquartered in Milpitas, California, and has operations worldwide, with more than half its sales outside the U.S.
